We're pleased to introduce you to the new and improved MERLIN — your gateway to educational and research trainee opportunities across the Houston Methodist Hospital system. Learners with an approved learning experience at any of the Houston Methodist facilities should use this system to apply to education programs and opportunities within Graduate Medical Education, Allied Health, Clinical, and Research Training programs. MERLIN is a web based application system to simplify the educational and research trainee application, selection, and orientation processes at the Houston Methodist Hospital sites in and around the Houston, Texas area. Learners interested in an educational opportunity at any of the Houston Methodist facilities should use this system to apply to educational programs and opportunities within Graduate Medical Education, Allied Health, Clinical, and Research Training for all programs and departments throughout the institution. Whether you’re applying for the first time or returning to complete your journey, please **review the system requirements** before creating your account, as some features have changed. All Learners, both new students and those returning students who have previously submitted an application in our legacy MERLIN system will need to Register a new account and create a new application within our new MERLIN system.
